When Regulations Change, PX4 Evolves

Regulatory Amendments Accommodated by PX4

We’re your dependable partner in tenement compliance, guaranteeing that you are equipped to meet today’s and tomorrow’s compliance requirements with confidence.
Amendment Commencement Change made to PX4
The Queensland Government's recently foreshadowed waiver of annual EPM rent will commerce 1 September 2023 and will be in place for 5 years. This waiver is applicable to all Queensland EPMs, not just those granted critical minerals. Commences 1 September 2023 and concludes 31 August 2028. This will necessitate a minor change to the EPM rental pathways in PX4, whereby all EPM rent actions that fall between 1 September 2023 and 31 August 2028 will be renamed 'waived annual EPM rent' (or similar). There will still be a need to complete the EPM rental actions so as not to interfere with repeating pathway actions (and ensure there's an unbroken sequence of completed actions in the Change Log as well). EPM rent actions will be generated as normal from 1 September 2028, subject to further announcements by the Queensland Government.
The Queensland Government introduced the option to submit either a work program (activities-based) or a work program (outcomes-based) for an exploration permit (s.130AA, Mineral Resources Act 1989) 2019 An option to record and manage a work program (outcomes-based) was added as a selection to Work Program and Expenditure
