April was an exciting and productive month for PX4 Software, marked by meaningful conversations, industry collaboration, and opportunities across the mining and land management sector in North America. From hosting our inaugural User Conference to attending industry events and meeting with companies in Western Canada, the month reinforced what drives us most: building practical software solutions shaped directly by the needs of the mining and exploration industry.
PX4 Software Hosts Inaugural User Conference
On April 14, PX4 Software had the privilege of hosting our first-ever User Conference, welcoming more than 30 attendees from across North America, including valued clients, prospective partners, and industry colleagues.
The event provided an excellent platform to share key software developments from the past year, preview our 2026 product roadmap, and discuss the future direction of land and tenure management technology.
One of the highlights of the day was hearing from KoBold Metals, who spoke about their collaboration with our team over the past two years. Their presentation focused on how we have worked together to adapt the platform to support evolving workflows and expand into new jurisdictions.
We were also pleased to welcome Jason Bogart from Wolcott, who shared insights into researching land status using BLM resources and best practices for navigating U.S. land data systems.
In addition, attendees received an update on PX4 Reimagined – our major software rearchitecture initiative that is currently underway and targeted for completion by the end of 2026. This next-generation platform represents a significant investment in scalability, performance, and long-term innovation for our clients.
The event provided an excellent platform to share key software developments from the past year, preview our 2026 product roadmap, and discuss the future direction of land and tenure management technology within the PX4 Software Platform.
Client Feedback Driving Product Development
Perhaps the most valuable part of the conference was our breakout discussion sessions, where users shared direct feedback on their experiences with the platform.
We discussed:
- Features currently delivering the most value
- Areas where workflows can be improved
- New functionality users would like to see next
- Jurisdiction-specific operational challenges
These conversations reaffirmed a core principle at PX4 Software: the best software is built collaboratively. Our platform continues to evolve because clients openly share their needs, challenges, and ideas.
We also highlighted our monthly PX4 User Group Meetings, where clients can explore specific functionality, showcase workflows, and exchange ideas with peers across the industry.
The conference concluded with networking, trivia, bingo, and an evening reception that gave attendees the chance to connect in a more relaxed setting.
PX4 at AAPL Mining and Land Resources Institute (MALRI)
The following day, our team was proud to attend the AAPL Mining and Land Resources Institute.
Over two days, attendees heard from 12 speakers covering a wide range of important topics affecting land professionals in the mining sector, including:
- Legislative developments in Idaho and Canada
- Ethical applications of artificial intelligence
- Patented mining claims
- Regulatory updates and practical field insights
This was the second consecutive year that PX4 Software has sponsored the event, and we are proud to continue supporting such a valuable forum for learning and networking. It remains one of the best opportunities in North America to connect with fellow mining land professionals.
Vancouver Networking Event with CorePlan
Following MALRI, Toby Carrigan and Izzy Peterson traveled to Vancouver to co-host an industry networking evening with our friends at CorePlan.
CorePlan is a leading drilling software platform that helps mining and exploration teams bridge the gap between planning and execution by providing real-time visibility into costs, progress, and performance.
The event brought together an impressive cross-section of mining professionals, including:
- Geologists
- Exploration managers
- Drilling contractors
- Consultants
- GIS professionals
- IT leaders
The relaxed setting created space for thoughtful discussions around the real operational challenges facing the industry today:
- How can field and office data be better connected?
- How can teams make faster, more strategic decisions?
- Where can software reduce inefficiencies and risk?
These conversations are invaluable. They help ensure technology providers like PX4 Software continue building practical tools that solve real-world problems.

Expanding into Saskatchewan’s Mining Sector
From Vancouver, Toby and Izzy traveled to Saskatoon to meet with several companies interested in learning more about PX4 Software, while also reconnecting with industry contacts in the region.
We are particularly excited about expanding into Saskatchewan.
Whenever PX4 enters a new jurisdiction, our approach is to first spend time with operators, consultants, and local experts who understand the realities of working within that region’s regulatory environment. While legislation provides the framework, successful land management also depends on understanding how requirements are practically interpreted and administered on the ground.
That local collaboration is essential to building jurisdiction-specific workflows that truly serve our clients.
We greatly appreciated the warm welcome from the Saskatoon mining community. The level of interest and enthusiasm we encountered confirmed that there is strong momentum and opportunity in the province.
We look forward to many more visits this year and to building lasting relationships throughout Saskatchewan and beyond.
